Hyperpro motorcycle suspension from an official Hyperpro stockist: fork springs, rear shock springs, lowering kits, rear shocks, Streetbox sets, steering dampers with their mounting kits, and workshop tools. Hyperpro describes itself as a Dutch maker that began in 1993 with progressive springs. Every title gives the Hyperpro part number, and a part made for a bike names the make and, where there is room, the models.

Springs first

Hyperpro says it spent its first five years making and selling only progressive springs. It describes them as rising rate springs: the first part of the spring compresses easily and the last part is much harder. Hyperpro says its front fork springs are mainly progressive, and it lists front fork springs, fork oil and an installing manual with setup data in its fork spring kit. Its rear shock spring is designed to fit on the bike's own shock and replace the standard spring.

Lowering

Hyperpro says it lowers a bike with a special rate spring rather than by shortening the spring: the first part of the spring is softer, so the bike settles lower under its own weight. Lowering link kits are the other route; Hyperpro notes that not every bike has a rear link that can be swapped, so a link kit is listed only for the bikes named in its title. Every lowering title gives the drop in millimetres.

Shocks and steering dampers

Hyperpro describes its emulsion shock as having rebound adjustment with 50 clicks and manual preload adjustment. Each rear shock here is sold as one shock. A Streetbox puts a Hyperpro rear shock together with front fork springs, and the BMW Telelever version has a front and a rear shock. Hyperpro makes two types of steering damper, the CSC and the RSC, and develops the mounting kits that fit a damper to a particular bike. A damper title names no bike: choose the mounting kit for your bike, then the damper.

Before you order

Kits that contain fork oil are sold for UK delivery only. Each product page gives the fitment for every model and year, and most also list what is in the box.

Will it fit my motorcycle?

Each title gives the Hyperpro part number and the make, usually with the models, and the Fitment section on the listing gives every model and year. Check the year range and the model variant as well as the model name before ordering.

Do I need a mounting kit for a Hyperpro steering damper?

Yes. Hyperpro develops mounting kits to mount its steering dampers to the bike, and each mounting kit title names the bike it fits. The mounting kit does not include the damper, and the damper does not include a mounting kit, so a bike needs one of each.
