Biltwell & ROEG Motorcycle Goggles & Sunglasses
Fourteen Biltwell and eight ROEG goggles and sunglasses sit on this page. They're sized to the rider's face, with no bike fitment to speak of. Most are built to fit over an open-face or a visor-less full-face helmet, and only one line here has room built in for prescription glasses. Fitment and lenses
Twelve of Biltwell's fourteen goggles here, the Moto 2.0, Overland 2.0 and Ridgeline lines, carry an identical fitment line from the maker: "most open face helmets and full face helmets without a visor." Only the Moto 2.0 states room for prescription glasses, and not on every colourway. The other eleven don't. Don't assume it carries across the range.
Overland 2.0, in both the Racer and Grunt versions, ships with two lenses in the box: the fitted one and a second clear lens for low light. Moto 2.0 and Ridgeline ship with one lens only.
The Peruna is built around interchangeable lenses; the Jettson goggle has one fixed lens. Six spare Peruna lens colours are sold on the visors page, and neither ROEG line states a helmet fitment on its own listing.
The certification line varies
Read the certification line on each listing. Most Biltwell goggles state "Meets CE EN1938:2010 standard for recreational motorcycle operation." The Ridgeline states no certification at all. The Ramblr sunglasses state only a generic CE standard, not the EN1938:2010 line the goggles carry. ROEG's Peruna and Jettson each carry their own wording of the same EN1938:2010 claim. None of gov.uk's visor and goggle standards mention EN1938:2010 by name. Every certification line on this page is the maker's own statement, not a restatement of UK law.
