Where are Harley Davidson Motorcycles made?
Harley Davidsons are often thought of as an all-American icon. Up until 2019, when the Kansas City plant was closed down, there were four factories in the United States. Due to increasing import costs to Europe, a plant in Thailand was set up. Harley Davidsons for American customers are assembled in the US in one of their three remaining plants in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. However, the parts are manufactured elsewhere. Harley Davidson manufactures parts in factories located in Taiwan, Japan, Italy, Germany, and Mexico. The number of American-made parts varies from model to model, but for the US market it means they are still ‘Made in America.’
